A Jarring Update

June 12, 2012

Well we’ve been quiet on the blog front. Not because we haven’t been busy of course – because we’ve been too busy. It has been a crazy year for JAR Café. The team – Mr Jurgen Alan in particular, but really the whole team – well, they have been working like crazy. Working all around the idea that if you drive something hard enough, with good enough quality and for the right value, you can really achieve a lot for all your clients and feel a bit creative as part of the bargain. And frankly – the team has been proved right.

JAR is not just a content creation house. JAR is about pushing technological and cost boundaries, together, to come up with the best output for the best value. With the explosion of content and content accessibility, we believe these are the things that will set people apart. So we’re so happy to have created a steady stream of music videos and web commercials for a whole range of customers. But that’s just the basics. The real JAR factor comes with putting solutions together for our customers.

 You want examples? Well…

We’re working with some partners on a radical in-store digital mannequin solution that will totally drive business to your door, and will keep your store open through the night with interactive screen technology. Supercool.

We’re finding value for our customers by linking our work with a smartphone code – so wherever your customers see the code, they can scan it and see your content. Brilliant.

We’re finding all kinds of ways to make your links with your audience more meaningful and richer. And of course we love making the content that is at the heart of these business opportunities.

So has it been the year we planned? Not really. Who knows where the seed of an idea will land when it’s just getting airborne?

But has it taken root? You bet.

JAR Café is growing. Let’s see what we can do together.

A Definitive Answer

It is imperative at the outset to decide which camp you’re in, so you know what parameters you are working within. No bitching and moaning later on. One camp has soul, passion and life, the other has comfort, security and existence.

So, the answer to question (ii) above, “Why do we do it?” is that we chose the Art camp.

At Jar Music we believe that Money, or the lack thereof should never dictate to talent. Money has never, and will never be able to buy or create Soul Food.
To those sceptic...

Hello, and welcome to Jar c.a.f.e
Blogs won’t always be this long, this is an introductory special.
A member of the scientific community once said “Science advances gravestone by gravestone.” He was referring to the fact that an established consensual viewpoint is very difficult to change; new ideas and new methods are mostly met with inertia and resistance.
"Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy with the p...
